The village has two excellent hotels which offer a selection of services and meals. Both have restaurants and pubs where bar meals are served. Edzell also has a tea room, coffee house and restaurant/cafe with take away chip shop.
GROCERIES
Two shops sell a variety of groceries, baked goods and newspapers.
One of these also incorporates the post office and has a cash machine.
The Butcher sells meat, poultry, ready meals, bread & some vegetables.
health & BEAUTY
The local Health Centre with a Doctor and a Physiotherapist is just down the road and the Chemist is downstairs.
The Hairdresser can be found in the High Street.

In addition to the above the village has a garage (repairs& petrol), craft/gift shop, charity shop, swing park, outdoor gym, bowling club, golf club and Church of Scotland services.
Edzell is a thriving community with approximately 700 inhabitants. Despite its size it has a wealth of amenities to offer to both its residents and welcome visitors.
All of these are within walking distance of our holiday home - Oakbank.
